Black Banarsi Brocade & Silk Salwar Kameez - UK 10 / EU 36 - Preloved

Kameez is sleeveless, it is made of a stunning heavy black and gold banarsi brocade, the neckline features a blue silk applique encrusted with diamante’s, dhabka and beadwork.  The back is similarly embellished.

Salwar is plain silk and is very heavily pleated – it has a mark on it that will need cleaning.

Dupatta is made silk chiffon, this is gathered in the centre and heavily embellished.  There is some colour fading of the dupatta in the folds as it was a shop display.   

This is a well-tailored suit using excellent quality fabrics

• Bust (taken approx. 3”/7cm down from the armpit) – 18“/43cm
• Waist - taken approx. 8“/19cm down from the armpit – 17”/40cm
• Kameez - seam allowance each side – 1 ½ “/3cm
• Kameez length - taken from under armpit to hem - 28“/67cm
• Zip fitting -Yes but not functional as it has been sewn back up.

Salwar

• Length – 40“/96cm
• Waist – 18“/43cm – elasticated
• Width of hem – 8 ½ “/20cm
