This is made of a rich pure banarsi brocade, the kameez is heavily embellished with velvet trims that are trimmed with small sparkling diamante stones.
Kameez is made of a rich royal banarsi brocade, it is heavily embellished with a velvet applique along the lower hem, this is then trimmed with hundreds of sparkling stones, beads, wirework, zardosi work, kundan detailing and masses of beading. The back has a deep keyhole shaped cut out secured with embellished ties.
Salwar is made of a fine silk, it has the same detailed embellishment work along the hems and smaller circles of work going up the leg.
Dupatta is made of a fine silk chiffon, it has a wide embellishment border all the way around the outer edges and has several strands of beadwork in each corner. The embellishment is made up of fine velvet, metallic braids, sequins, dhabka and lots of little beads in varying shapes and sizes. The reverse edge is trimmed in a brocade trim to prevent snagging.
This is a lovely suit using really good quality fabrics and embellishments. It does have quite a few loose threads particularly on the dupatta that will require tidying up a little. These have come loose from the fabric on the reverse side of the dupatta.
This has been worn, it cost £225 new and preloved in very good condition.
