Cream And Red Vintage Silk Lengha Skirt And Matching Dupatta - Preloved

This is a classic vintage wedding lengha in a pure cream silk, it features lots of detailed zardosi work, hundreds of gold sequins and masses of beadwork. Some of this work sits on a contrasting red and green applique.   It is finished with little red and green glass beads and has a draw cord to secure as well as a side zip.

This is taken from a bridal trousseau, about 30 years old, It has been worn.  The skirt hem will need cleaning, there is a small area where it has dragged in dirt, some of this can be seen on the front side however it is more noticeable on the inside which won’t be seen.    It can either be spot cleaned in this area or dry-cleaned.

A plain sleeveless silk blouse is included however it is marked around the armholes, this is only being included in case the fabric can be used.

Dupatta is made of chiffon and is a contrast red in colour, it too is heavily embellished and finished with kiran gota fringe.
