Purple Heavy Embellishment Vintage Dupatta - New

Product detail – This is a vintage dupatta, around 30 years old, in purple silk chiffon, hand embroidered throughout with large gold metallic thread florals. Each flower is built up in raised zari work, with layered petals shading from silver to gold, and centres filled with pink and green sequin and bead work. The blooms are set within sprays of fine gold leaf stitching, with smaller bud motifs in pink and silver scattered between them. Both ends are finished with a purple tasselled fringe, edged along the top in a gold chain stitch border.
