Vintage Hand-Embroidered Black Cotton Blouse - To Fit Bust 38" - Preloved

This is a vintage black cotton blouse, unlined and estimated to be around three decades old. It is distinguished by its vibrant, colourful hand embroidery and genuine mirror work. The embroidery features large, detailed floral and paisley motifs in shades of red, yellow, and green, along with smaller multi-coloured stitches.

The blouse has a cropped, fitted style with a scoop neck and short sleeves. The sleeves are a focal point, showcasing the elaborate embroidery and mirror embellishments. The blouse closes at the back with a row of hook-and-eye fastenings.

A few of the small, round mirrors are missing from the embroidery at the back of the garment, which is a detail consistent with its age and handmade nature.
