Product detail – This is a vintage dupatta, around 30 years old, in pure teal silk. The body is worked throughout with a repeating gold thread trellis, each panel framed by a scrolling vine and set with alternating motifs: a small five petal flower filled with amber and gold glass beads, and a teal silk diamond patch outlined in gold thread.
Both ends carry a wider version of the same border, finished along the edge with a row of fleur de Lys motifs picked out in gold thread and beading.
