Purple Embellished With Zardosi Bird Motif Dupatta - Preloved

Product detail – This is a vintage dupatta, around 30 years old, in magenta silk chiffon. Both long edges carry a wide border of gold zari work, built up from large florals and paisley motifs in metallic thread, each flower centre picked out in tiny sequins and the paisleys finished with a fine chain stitch outline. Scattered across the plain body are small gold zari birds in flight, each one worked in fine metallic thread with a cluster of pink beads along the wing and a single bead for the eye, interspersed with delicate leaf sprigs in the same gold thread. It has a few small stains, whilst not overly noticeable they will require cleaning
